The Beginning…

I have a passion for all things creative and design related. From the moment I could hold a spoon I became a true DIY’er and have been creating things ever since. It’s not uncommon for my husband to come home and find me wrapped up in a crazy project with paint in my hair and glue stuck to my fingers. Oh, and there’s a good chance I’ll still be in my pajamas too.

I graduated from the University of Montana with an MBA and my undergrad in Marketing. I met my husband during my last year of college and we were married two weeks after we graduated. Some say we were on the fast track. And we were. But for the record, he had sealed the deal on our second date; he let me shoot the cannon during a home football game and the rest is history.

I decided to seriously pursue photography after becoming completely captivated by my own wedding photographs. I wanted to be able to give the same experience that my photographer gave me to others. With camera in hand, I took the leap and started my own photography business and never looked back. I am self taught (I’m a DIY’er, remember? ) but have endless hours behind my lens doing what I do best. I love what I do and I love the people I’ve met along this journey. Most of all, I love the power of photography.

I primarily shoot mountain weddings in western Montana but am available for travel WORLDWIDE. I have a running list of fabulous places I’d love to travel to and photograph; contact me for my list of these ‘No Travel Fee’ locations! In addition to shooting weddings, I own a boudoir studio in Helena, Montana and love the glamour/portrait side of what I do as well.
