The Wedding Experience

CONGRATULATIONS!

You’re engaged! This is such an exciting time for you and your fiancé. Choosing a wedding photographer can be a challenging process. There’s so much talent available to you and sometimes it’s hard to put your finger on what you like about one photographer’s work vs. another.

As you look through my portfolio, you’ve probably noticed a few key things about my work: The colors are vibrant but still very soft and airy; My posing is romantic & intimate; And I emphasize capturing the small details in each wedding I photograph.

Below I’ve gone into more detail about what’s different about my wedding photography style to help you get a feel for what you can expect from your wedding photographs when I capture your day.

PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE

FINE ART | EDITORIAL | ROMANTIC

I am a natural light, fine-art photographer with an editorial flair. This means my posing helps you to look natural and in-love, I emphasize capturing the genuine moments in a romantic way, and I am often hired for my ability to capture and stylize the details of your day so they look magazine-worthy (that’s the editorial part :)

For me it’s about the MOMENTS. The moments you never get to relive again except through your photographs. The moment you said “I do” to your best friend and partner for life. The moment you first saw each other and took each other’s breath away. The moment he whispered “I love you” in your ear during your first dance. I want to bring you back to those moments and create art out of them for you cherish for a lifetime.

When you’ve said your vows, exchanged rings, danced the night away and hugged your guests goodbye, all that’s left from your day are your photographs.

A MONTANA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I LOVE the mountains. They are home to me. Their beauty is simply awe-inspiring which is why I can’t think of a better place to document the love between two people.

I specialize in shooting mountain weddings for adventure-seeking couples and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE helping my couples as they plan along the way!

I photograph weddings all over western Montana but also travel worldwide wherever your wedding leads us.

Booking your venue and photographer should be the first two things you tackle. Finding a photographer whose style you LOVE and whom you get along great with are the top two things to look for when seeking out a wedding photographer for your day.

CHOOSING A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I feel there’s nothing more important than having your day captured by a photographer that you:

  1. Click with: your photographer will be with you the entire day on one of the most important days of your life. You want to make sure you choose someone you get along great with and find fun to be around. I meet with all of my couples before booking (either FaceTime or over coffee) so we can get to know each other and let you ask any questions you may have.
  2. Envy their work: Wedding photography is an investment. Hiring a photographer who you simply drool over their work and can’t imagine having your day captured in any other style is hugely important in choosing your wedding photographer.
  3. Trust: Finding someone reputable with great reviews and plenty of experience is another important factor when selecting a photographer. It’s important to have someone you are able to ask questions and seek recommendations from whether it be other vendors they’ve worked with and love or building out the timeline for your day.

COLLECTIONS

My pricing is set up so that you can build your own collection that fits around your needs and budget! Generally, full day coverage starts around $2900. Please see my pricing info for more details.

ALL collections come with a beautiful, custom online gallery to download and share your images. And each collection comes with print credit so that you can print your gorgeous images into prints or canvases to have as a keepsake on your wall. I want all of my clients to enjoy the beautiful art they’ve invested in each and every day.

CONTACT ME TODAY to find out if your date is available. I accept a handful of weddings each year so that I can ensure adequate time and detail can be given to each of my clients and their galleries. My 2019 availability is limited.
