COLORADO COURTHOUSE ELOPEMENT | MADELYN & MARK

This courthouse elopement was one for the books! When Madelyn first contacted me about photographing their intimate wedding, I was so excited! We chatted over coffee and the more we talked, the more she told me about the significance of them being married on April 22, 2015. The day was both her grandparents’ anniversary along with what would have been her grandfather’s 100th birthday. This same set of grandparents was from Chicago but found themselves in nearby Denver where they too eloped this day. Madelyn and Mark, also from Illinois, found themselves not far from the same spot where her grandparents were married 74 years ago to the day. I absolutely loved their story! It’s truly amazing how life can come full circle.

Their day was so intimate and full of love. They got ready in their home and then headed downtown to the courthouse. I loved all of their sweet details and their families too! You could just tell how special Madelyn’s relationship is with her dad. And the day wasn’t complete without a trip to City Rock. One of Madelyn and Mark’s favorite places to climb!

Congratulations on your marriage Madelyn and Mark! May you both be shining examples of a strong loving marriage for your grandchildren just as your grandparents were for you! I’m so thrilled I could capture this special day for you!
