Livingston, MT is a top destination spot for couples wanting to have their wedding among the incredibly gorgeous setting of Paradise Valley. And yet, it’s extremely difficult to find wedding venues here. They seem to be tucked away and hard to find through simple internet searches. I’ve put together my Top 9 Wedding Venues in Livingston, MT and Paradise Valley below. Wedding photographers in Livingston, MT have it made when it comes to the ultimate mountain backdrops and most of these venues!

Deep Creek Range : If you’ve done some searching for wedding venues near Livingston, MT then you’ve most likely come across Deep Creek Range. It’s truly one of the better wedding venues in the area from it’s outstanding mountain views to it’s rustic event building. There are some amenities offered at the Deep Creek Range that many of the other venues mentioned here don’t have. A couple of those are indoor restrooms and a fully equipped kitchen for caterers. The indoor/outdoor options with this venue are also a definite advantage. This venue is located just 10 miles south of Livingston and can accommodate between 10-250 guests.

O’Hair Ranch Lodge: The O’Hair is a private home on a gorgeous 15,000+ acres of property with absolutely stunning views and Yellowstone River frontage. This location is starting to become a very popular spot for weddings. The house itself is great for getting-ready photos and other wedding photography with plenty of natural light and 4 bedrooms. While the inside has a slight western aesthetic, it’s not overbearing and really feels like a true “Montana” ranch. This venue would definitely require all vendors to be self contained and would be most conducive to couples wanting a tented reception. It would be absolutely perfect to use a clear top tent in the wide open field by the river. This would be the optimal spot for dancing under the stars. I actually have had the privilege of shooting at this location for an engagement session. You can see more of those photos here and down below.

**Nearby rentals in Bozeman (MT Party Rentals) can be used for this location along with many other venues mentioned below.

Chico Hot Springs: A very well-known venue in Paradise Valley is Chico Hot Springs. The buildings are historic and charming and Chico itself has numerous options for ceremony and reception locations! One great perk is obviously the ability to have all of your guests stay on location. In addition, Chico offers on-site catering and an event coordinator for your day. With it’s Montana history and superb location, Chico is a definite top pick in Paradise Valley.

Yellowstone Valley Lodge: They Yellowstone Valley Lodge is a GREAT option for a wedding venue. It is almost literally located on the Yellowstone River, the gorgeous Absaroka range as the backdrop to the East and individual cabins to accommodate a large number of guests. It’s really the best of all worlds in terms of wedding venues in Paradise Valley. In my opinion, this venue is a top choice for true outdoorsmen/angler couples who live to find adventure; this lodge truly captures the essence of that mindset and would be a treat for guests to visit as well. Regarding your wedding photographer, it’s most likely a top choice for he or she as well. Check out this recent wedding photographed at the Yellowstone Valley Lodge!

StoneFlower Event Center: The Stoneflower is a very new venue to the valley and has so many traits that are different from other “lodge-like” venues you may come across. The grounds are well manicured and the area surrounding the house feels intimate and inviting. As opposed to wide-open fields with very little shade that most of the other wedding venues in Livingston, MT have, this venue has a beautifully treed area providing shade and great photography light. The home itself I would describe as being very charming and with a farmhouse feel. Overnight accommodations are available but limited.

Mountain Sky Ranch: Located in Emigrant, the Mountain Sky Ranch is a high-end experience through and through. It sits on an exclusive golf course (Rising Sun Golf Course) complete with 18 holes and gorgeous mountain views. Although it doesn’t call itself all-inclusive, out of all of the venues in Paradise Valley I would consider it all-inclusive with it’s extensive list of activities and excursions for your bridal party and other guests. From fly fishing, to wildlife viewing, to horseback riding, to golfing to relaxing with Yogo or a dip in the hot tub, there’s plenty to do.

The Yellowstone House: The Yellowstone House has so much to offer. The home itself is immaculate and truly a show-stopping, Montana lodge. If you are someone who prefers to “do your own thing” and frequently find yourself staying at Air BnB’s over hotels on your travels, you’ll probably really like the feel of this spot. While it has a lot of amenities built in, you really can be on your own and host a very private event at this spot. And they added an event barn to their property in 2017 which is a great added feature besides the scenic views, open land and gorgeous home.

Sage Lodge: This brand new venue Has. It. All. The Sage Lodge opened in July of 2018 and is the ultimate Montana retreat. The accommodations, lodge and grounds are out of this world. If I were getting married, I would probably choose this venue for my own wedding. It fully embodies Montana in a classy, high-end kind of way. I would directly compare this to the Mountain Sky Ranch in the vibe of this venue. Sage Lodge does seem to cater to weddings a bit more than Mountain Sky, but both have a similar “luxury ranch” vibe. Because of how new it is, it’s definitely worth putting on your list to see if you’re planning a day of wedding venue viewing in Paradise Valley. As a Livingston, MT wedding photographer, I would LOVE the opportunity to shoot at this new spot!

Luccock Park: The last venue on this list is a non-traditional option when thinking of getting married in Paradise Valley. Luccock Park is located just outside of Livingston and provides an excellent budget-friendly option for couples wanting to be married in this location, but without the high price tag that comes with most of the others listed. While the park does provide a glimpse of mountains behind it, the location itself is conducive to planning out a short break in your day to drive down the valley and stop at a scenic viewpoint such as Mallards Rest to get the jaw dropping images you might be seeking while allowing all guests to remain close to Livingston and their on-site accommodations at the park!
