Wedding at Rainbow Ranch Lodge, MT | Steph & Luke

Steph and Luke’s wedding was one of the most beautiful I’ve  had the privilege to photograph. Not only was the setting stunning—Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky, Montana is nestled against the mountains with the Gallatin River running through the property—but the love between Steph and Luke was palpable. They were so obviously meant for each other and it was an honor to capture their special day.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Steph and Luke’s first look together before the ceremony. The joy on their faces when they saw each other for the first time that day was unforgettable and our portrait time together we were able to make absolute magic.

Another highlight was during the reception when Steph’s dad gave a toast. He talked about how proud he was of his daughter and how happy he was that she had found such a good man in Luke. Not only that, but we also heard about Steph’s love of Shania Twain which also came out later on the dance floor. 

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Rainbow Ranch Lodge (it is TRULY one of my favorite venues). It has the perfect mix of everything you could want in a Montana wedding venue — a picturesque setting with mountains and river, amazing food, lodging for guests, great spots for wedding photographs — it’s a top choice for me if I was planning a wedding!

Steph and Luke’s sunset session was also in Steph’s true style. She wore a gorgeous bridal jumpsuit by Nadine Merabi. Steph was a bride that wasn’t afraid to be bold which made their wedding so unique and special.
