Karen and Bryce’s engagement session downtown Denver was a blast! We wandered around a few of the streets with many old, historic hotels and buildings. Both Karen and Bryce met while working in downtown Denver in the hospitality industry and are absolutely in love with all of the old architecture and design of the old hotels… and so was I! We made it a point to stop by the Oxford and the Brown Palace, two of Bryce and Karen’s favorite hotels in Denver. I had so much fun getting to know these two a little better during our session. They are so cute together.
This was my first time shooting in Union Station and I wasn’t disappointed. The entire space inside had amazing natural light from its enormous windows. I adored its classy, metropolitan vibe and all of the opportunities to photograph smaller vignettes with so much character.
Karen and Bryce are getting married next September in Evergreen, CO in a rustic barn… totally opposite of their engagement session, but that’s exactly what they wanted! I love that they will have images showing their love for all things urban and “big city” and will have a more laid back, western feel to their wedding images; a perfectly, well-rounded gallery if you ask me!
