Beartooth Pass Engagement Session in Montana | Beth + Jake

Beth and Jake drove up from their home in Billings, MT for their engagement session on the Beartooth Pass outside of Red Lodge. They brought their two dogs with them and we made sure to get some photos of the whole family! Beth’s bouquet was from Rowan and Larch Floral Design and it added the perfect pop of color with her dress. 

Whenever you can, I highly recommend having a local florist design a bouquet even for your engagement session! It totally elevates the look and feel of the session.

We started at a spot part-way up the Beartooth Pass with expansive views of the mountains. The couple was so natural in front of the camera and they made each other laugh which always makes for the best photos! 

The second half of the session, we went to a different location with an open field but still with mountains in the backdrop. The light was gorgeous.  

I loved getting to explore this beautiful area with Beth and Jake and their dogs. Engagement sessions are always so much fun because we have more time to get creative and move to more spots! If you’re considering doing an engagement session, it’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.
