Big Mountain Elopement in Whitefish, MT | Grace + Cody

Grace and Cody’s wedding was one of the most unique and beautiful weddings I have ever photographed. They chose to have their elopement ceremony on top of Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana with stunning 360 degree views all around them. We rode a chair lift to get up to the top, which made for some great photo opportunities! Here are some of my favorite photos from their special day. 

The day started with Grace and her bridesmaids getting ready in the lodge at the base of the mountain. The light was streaming in through the windows and Grace looked absolutely radiant in her wedding dress. Her bridesmaids were laughing and joking around and it was such a fun atmosphere.

When we arrived at the top of the mountain with Grace and her dad, we used the opportunity to grab a few portraits of Grace before Cody arrived. The ceremony itself was very short and sweet, with just a few readings and exchange of vows. It was so special being able to witness these two becoming husband and wife with the most incredible views all around us!

After the ceremony, we took some family photos and then walked all around the summit of the mountain taking in the views while taking photographs of Grace and Cody together as they celebrated being husband and wife.  

Grace and Cody’s Big Mountain Elopement in Whitefish was an absolutely incredible event to photograph. The setting could not have been more beautiful!
