I absolutely love shooting weddings but what I love even more is when the bride is your beautiful sister-in-law marrying her soul mate…
The day began with overcast skies and a promise of sunshine in the afternoon. You could say it was the most perfect fall day for Muckie and Linda to say “I do.” It was such a fun experience to really know the couple and to see how each and every detail incorporated in their day was truly them. They planned their wedding in just under two months with the help of some amazing friends and family who saw that every last detail was taken care of.
Blair Acres in Puyallup, WA was a drop dead gorgeous venue, especially in the fall. I couldn’t believe the amazing colors in the surrounding foliage. It was perfect! We took tons of portraits of the two of them and even some with their adorable son, Kai just before the sun decided to show itself in full force.
The beaming sun warmed the fall air as Linda’s brother (my husband) walked her down the aisle. Their ceremony was so personal with once of Muckie’s coaches whom he’s known for years officiating. They wrote their own vows which proved to be both touching and very entertaining.
The evening ended with a perfectly glowing sun giving us the most amazing images at sunset. Friends and family toasted to the newlyweds and they later shared their first dance as husband and wife with a live performance from artist Rocky Sandoval. A truly incredible day!
Linda and Muckie, thank you. Thank you for being two amazing people I am so grateful to call family. I feel honored to have shared in this day with you in such a special way. May your lives be filled with love and happiness and less distance between us!
