CRESTED BUTTE WEDDING | EMILY & MIKE

When Emily contacted me about shooting her wedding in Crested Butte, CO I could not have been more excited. I had never been, but knew Crested Butte to be a gorgeous destination mountain town and it did not disappoint! Emily and Mike were married on Emily’s family property. Their ceremony was held right next to the river where they said their vows underneath a custom made arbor. As soon as they said, “I do”, they exited down the aisle as guests threw lavender seeds in celebration.

Their DIY details were simply out of this world. I could not believe all of the talent in Emily and Mike’s family who created each and every special touch. From the hand painted rustic signage, to the decadent sweets table and wedding cake, to the floral arrangements and wood wall behind the head table, nothing was left untouched by their crew! They literally handmade it all and it was amazing!

I snuck Emily and Mike out just before sunset for their pictures together. The light by the river was glowing over the hilltop and we made some magic happen. Congrats Emily and Mike! And thank you for letting me capture all of the love that made this day happen!
