This wedding was definitely one for the books! I knew it was going to be so unique and amazing and unlike most Montana weddings! Both Chris and Kristin now live in Washington D.C. but they are each still deeply rooted in Helena, MT. Now, living in a metropolitan area and wanting the vibe of their wedding to fit their current lives, they sought an urban location for their ceremony. Chris and Kristin had a true downtown wedding as they were married at Performance Square in downtown Helena.
The square was decorated beautifully with gorgeous greenery, florals and garland strung from side to side. Their ceremony was also very personal with their close friends and family not only singing and officiating, but also each dedicating readings to the couple. You could sense the impact that Chris and Kristin have had on the lives of each of the guests attending and witnessing their marriage.
Cocktail hour was filled with lovely wine choices and amazing hors d’oeuvres. The reception was held at the Holter Museum of Art, not far from the ceremony. It too was simply amazing and unique in it’s atmosphere and contemporary feel. Truly such a fun and different wedding to capture! It is a pleasure to photograph in new spaces with my amazing couples! Congratulations again, Chris and Kristin! Thank you for allowing me to document your day!
