RED FEATHER LAKES WEDDING | STEPHANIE & MARK

I’ve been traveling all over the beautiful state of Colorado shooting many amazing weddings this year so when Stephanie mentioned Red Feather Lakes as the location for her wedding, I was thrilled to add it to my list! Stephanie and Mark were married on the immaculately manicured lawns of the Fox Acres Golf Course in Red Feather Lakes, CO. They had an intimate ceremony by the edge of the lake with close friends and family witnessing their love.

Their author-themed reception was held in the club house with stacks of classic books written by world-renowned authors incorporated in the decor; Each table had it’s own author and it’s own love-inspired quote framed and featured at the table. Paper hearts were cut from old book pages and fresh flower centerpieces brought Stephanie and Mark’s love for nature, inside.

Stephanie and Mark, your day was amazing! Your family was exceptionally sweet and I couldn’t be happier to have documented this day for two of the kindest people I’ve known. I will end this post with one of my favorite quotes from your wedding by J.R.R. Tolkien. It sums up the love between you that is so evident to anyone in your presence: “I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.”
