Sand Dunes Editorial Engagement Inspiration

Shelby and Caleb had such an amazing anniversary session at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. I had never been and was dying to photograph here. As we drove closer to the park, we began to see massive sand dunes sitting just at the base of the mountains behind it. To me, it was truly an amazing phenomenon to see these dunes in the middle of nowhere. Although sand dunes in the middle of the Colorado mountains isn’t common, it is definitely beautiful. We had a small hike into the dunes with just a small glow of sun left peaking over dunes to the west.

Florals from Sweet Southern Charm in Colorado Springs were unreal. I truly believe floral design can make or break the entire look to a wedding or a shoot. These were such a beautiful assortment of bold fall colors of gold and burgundy. They added so much to the shoot. I HIGHLY recommend getting a bouquet like this for an engagement session or anniversary session. It brings the overall aesthetic of a shoot to the next level with a fully curated feel, provides more options for detail photos and creates imagery that feels like art and will look gorgeous on your wall or coffee table.
